Lake Walk

The Bird, Tree, and Garden club hosted a series of Lake Walks this summer at Chautauqua Institution in collaboration with the Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy.  I had the privilege of being a part of that series.

A large group of photographers showed up with DLSRs, Point-n-Shoots, and iPhones to learn about the contemplative approach. After a 10 minute introductions, I set them loose to make images.

After the program, Woody walked me back to my car and found this image:
His discovery – his eye… I merely snapped it for him.
(Did you notice it is also his portrait?)

I had a great time.  Many thanks to all the people who turned out for the walk.  If you happen to find this post and care to email me a picture from that evening, I’ll make a post here!  (Send me a message through my website, and I’ll send you the email address to use.)
