I set up a little “stage” next to the bedroom window on a bright but cloudy winter day. It was snowing. No additional light was added. I did have to hold a sheet in front of the window to eliminate a window reflection in the bowl. OH! And I ACTUALLY set camera in manual mode AND set the white balance manually! Yay me!
All editing was done in Camera Raw. Removed a spot or two on the front left egg. Adjusted exposure up as high as I could go without blowing it out. I used the target adjustment tool to reduce a yellowish tone in the darkest shadow at the bottom of the bowl. Other than that, this is a “color” photograph.
