A Gift

Sometimes I go snooping around Ted.com for inspiration. Here’s what I got this morning:

It wasn’t exactly the kind of inspiration I was looking for.  But it’s what the universe presented to me.  And it leaves me wondering:  how do we achieve for ourselves the results of her gift, without having to endure the gift itself?  Why can’t we live our lives like that every single day?  Why does it take something like this to put things into perspective?
